Cottage Style New Build with Casement Windows & French Doors
Open GalleryOne of a few new build homes on this plot in rural Wiltshire, Vine Cottage’s design was largely dictated by the developer’s desire to build homes that would conform to and complement other buildings in the area.
Templeton Walker wanted a good quality, fully finished product and specified Westbury windows and doors because they combine classic design with high performance technology. Westbury has an ongoing relationship with Templeton Walker, as we consistently provide the high-quality aesthetics and performance they require to achieve the design integrity associated with their heritage projects.
Installing a mixture of casement windows, French doors (with bolection panels) and entrance doors (raised and fielded 6-panel) they have created a home that has heritage appeal but is thoroughly tested to modern standards including PAS24 security testing. In order to meet Part Q of the building regulations, any windows fitted in new builds (or new dwellings if the building use has changed to residential) must meet PAS24 standards.
All joinery was painted Westbury White for a clean, smart finish combined with polished chrome ironmongery. Head fillets were supplied with the windows to enable their builders to finish off the windows and doors with brick arches.

The new windows look absolutely fantastic and we’re very happy that we chose Westbury after considering a large selection of companies.”
