Spring Balanced Sash Windows for Red Brick New Build
Open GalleryThe architecture of this elegant new build property has a distinct Georgian aesthetic, so spring balanced sash windows were the ideal choice for enhancing the building’s classical style. Sash windows have traditional sightlines, making them an elegant addition to any authentic or period-style home.
Painted in a crisp and clean Westbury White with our standard glazing, we fitted the beautifully crafted timber windows throughout the property, giving a smart and symmetrical look. To complement the light-buff paving laid on the entrance porch, the windows sit on Epson stone cills.
The front door takes centre stage, standing proudly in the middle of the property with direct glazed wing lights and fanlights to let plenty of light stream into the entrance hallway. While the door frame and sidelights are also painted in Westbury White to match the windows, the door itself is painted with a high gloss paint in a striking jet black colour which really makes a statement. We also had the house number precisely satin etched into the fanlight.
The client had their heart set on a unique set of polished nickel ironmongery, which we were very happy to check and fit to the doors and windows at our workshop.
To the rear of the property, we also supplied three sets of fully glazed French doors, one set leading out onto the garden, one leading to the outdoor patio from the dining room and one from the living room. Finally, we supplied a stable door for a boot room, situated at the rear of the garage.
